The Noise Explorer Hub APP is developed and provided by NEXXBASE MARKETING PRIVATE LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as "we," "our," or "NEXXBASE"). We sell the Noise Explorer 2 children’s smartwatch (hereinafter referred to as "Device" or "Watch") globally through retailers and distributors, either directly or indirectly, and issue the Noise Explorer Hub APP as a companion app for the children’s smartwatch. This product is designed to enable voice/video calls and location sharing between users of the watch and members bound to the "Noise Explorer Hub APP," along with other multi-module services, to help users live safely, healthily, and happily.
Since the Noise Explorer Hub APP is the companion app for the Noise Explorer 2 children’s smartwatch, it is intended to interact with the children’s watch and protect your child’s health, safety, and happiness while using the Noise Explorer 2 children’s smartwatch. Therefore, this APP is not intended for minors. Please ensure that you are an adult and the legal guardian of the Noise Explorer 2 children’s smartwatch bound to the Noise Explorer Hub APP.
When using this APP, it will involve the processing of your personal information and the personal information of the child bound to the watch. We take the protection of your and your child’s personal information very seriously. We comply with the relevant laws and regulations in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to the EU General Data Protection Regulation) to protect and respect your and your child’s personal information and privacy security. We have specifically formulated this Noise Explorer Hub APP Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, store, and process your information.
We hereby solemnly remind you: We place great importance on the protection of children’s personal information and handle this information with the utmost caution. Before you start using the Noise Explorer Hub APP and the companion children’s watch, please be sure to read and understand this policy to ensure that you fully understand and agree before beginning to use it. 1. Scope of Application of This Noise Explorer Hub APP Privacy Policy
1.1 Unless otherwise specified in this Privacy Policy, the terms in this Privacy Policy are consistent with those in the Noise Explorer Hub APP User Agreement;
1.2 This Privacy Policy applies only to the Noise Explorer Hub APP developed, designed, or legally authorized by NEXXBASE MARKETING PRIVATE LIMITED.
1.3 This Privacy Policy does not apply to: Third-party services accessed through our products and/or services, including third-party applications and websites, and any personal information of you and your child collected and processed by them. We strongly recommend that you read the privacy policies of these third parties, as our privacy policy does not apply to other websites linked from our services. We assume no responsibility for how third parties use your and your child’s personal information.
2. How We Collect and Use Personal Information
We collect and use personal information in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to the EU General Data Protection Regulation). Unless there are special provisions in the data protection laws of your country/region.
When you use the Noise Explorer Hub APP, you acknowledge and agree that we may collect, store, and use the following data related to your personal information, which may be used for registration, login, account binding, and other functions. If you do not provide the relevant information, you may not be able to become our user, enjoy our services, or achieve the expected results of the relevant services.
Due to the interdependence of our products and services, and the inseparability of parent and child personal information in certain functionalities, we may also collect your child’s personal information when collecting your personal information. Please rest assured that in any case, we strictly adhere to the law and this privacy policy to protect the security and privacy of your and your child’s personal information.
2.1 Information You Provide to Us
2.1.1 To activate your device, you will be asked to select your country/region and language preference. These abstract data cannot identify your personal identity.
2.1.2 When you register, log in, or use the Noise Explorer Hub APP and related services, you need to provide your personal information, children’s basic information, contact information, and contact details.
- Children’s Basic Information: The basic personal information you actively provide to create a child profile and bind the Noise Explorer 2 children’s smartwatch, including phone number, nickname (optional), gender (optional), avatar (optional), height (optional), weight (optional). Please note that the accuracy of this information depends on the content you fill in.
- Contact Information: You may provide additional personal information to us, such as your name, email address, and phone number, to seek technical support or information from us.
- Contact Details: You may provide contact information (phone number, nickname, avatar, familial relationship) to establish a contact list on the device, including contact information collected through social features. Please note that the accuracy of this information depends on the content you fill in.
2.2 Information We Collect When You Use the Noise Explorer Hub APP and Services
2.2.1 Log Information: When you use the Noise Explorer Hub APP and related services, we collect information about your use of our services and settings/preferences, which is stored as log data;
2.2.2 Device or Application Information: When you use the Noise Explorer Hub APP, we may collect your device version number, device identification code (IMEI number, Mac address), mobile operating system (e.g., Android version) and brand/model information, and device manufacturer information.
2.2.3 Third-Party Account Login: We collect the nickname, avatar, and device-related information of your third-party account, including device information (OpenUDID, Android ID) and system basic information (region settings, system language) to enable login functionality via your third-party account. If we do not collect this information, login will not be possible.
2.2.4 Binding of Noise Explorer Hub APP and Watch: We collect account information from the APP side; children’s personal basic information (avatar, nickname, phone number, gender); children’s personal health and physiological information (height, weight); and contact information (avatar, nickname, familial relationship, phone number) to enable binding between the Noise Explorer Hub APP and the watch.
2.2.5 Watch Call Records: When you use the call record feature of the watch, we obtain the call records from the bound watch to display them in the APP.
2.2.6 Watch Phone Number: After the APP is bound to the children’s watch, with your consent, we collect the phone number of the watch/your phone.
2.2.7 Location Information: When you enable the device’s location function, with your consent, we perform location services to provide relevant services without requiring manual entry of geographic coordinates. We collect location information from both the mobile and watch ends to enable basic location, weather, real-time tracking (high-frequency location reporting from the watch), and other functions. You can also disable the location function to stop providing your and your child’s geographic location information to NEXXBASE. After disabling the location function, certain safety guardian and weather functions will not be available, but other functions will remain unaffected.
2.2.8 Step Information: When you allow the watch to use the pedometer function, we collect your step count, distance, and calorie information for comparison with watch friends. This information is displayed in the Noise Explorer Hub APP and is stored only on our servers. Refusing to provide this information will only affect the display of this feature and will not impact the use of other functions of the watch and Noise Explorer Hub APP.
2.2.9 Voice Messages: When you use voice messages for voice chat, emoji input, text input, image input, or video chat, we collect your voice content, emoji information, text information, image information, and video information. Collecting this information is necessary to enable the aforementioned features. We process this information in real-time and return the results to you. Rest assured, your chat information is encrypted and stored on our servers, and we do not access the content of your chats.
2.2.10 Rewards Information: When you use the Rewards feature, we collect data related to your actions, such as entering the Rewards feature, viewing wallet and badge details, adjusting and exchanging coin quantities, as well as task completion and exchange records.
2.2.11 Scheduler Information: When you use the Scheduler feature, we collect data related to your actions, such as entering the Scheduler feature, creating, editing, deleting, and marking tasks as complete, as well as task names, categories, assignees, deadlines, times, repeat rules, reward amounts, and notification settings.
2.2.12 Fitness Information: When you use the fitness feature, we collect data related to your actions, such as entering the fitness feature and setting distance and calorie goals, as well as information on distance and calories.
2.2.13 Cloud Album Information: If you choose to use the cloud album feature, we collect your cloud album data and upload photos and videos taken by your child using the device to your cloud album for viewing.
2.2.14 Class Schedule Information: If you choose to use the class schedule feature, we collect the class schedule information you fill out to display your child’s schedule on your and your child’s device. Rest assured that your information is only used for display on the watch and is not uploaded to the cloud.
2.2.15 Mobile Camera Permission Information: If you choose to use group chat or private chat features to take and send photos/videos, scan QR codes to bind devices, add friends via QR codes, make video calls, set album watch faces, or set avatars, we need to access your mobile camera permission.
2.2.16 Mobile Storage Permission Information: If you choose to use features such as selecting QR codes from your album to add devices or friends, inserting photos from your album in group or private chats, setting avatars, or using album watch faces, we need to access your mobile storage permission to access your photo album.
2.3 How Your Personal Information Will Be Used
2.3.1. We will only use your personal data in ways permitted by applicable law, unless you and your guardian agree to different uses and purposes. For example, under the GDPR, the use of personal data must be justified by one of several legal bases. The primary legal bases for our use of your personal data are as follows:
- Contract Performance: Your information is necessary for entering into or performing our contract with you.
- Legal Obligation: We need to use your information to fulfill our legal obligations.
- Legitimate Interests: We use your information to achieve legitimate interests, and our reasons for using this information outweigh any potential harm to your data protection rights.
- Legal Claims: Your information is necessary for us to defend ourselves or a third party, or for us to initiate litigation or claims against you or a third party.
- Consent: You have consented to our use of your information (you will receive a consent form or similar documentation related to any such use, and you may withdraw your consent via unsubscribe or similar mechanisms).
2.3.2. We may use your and your child’s personal information for the following purposes:
- To provide our services to you as stated in the user agreement and according to your needs.
- To communicate with you, including but not limited to responding to your requests based on our services and your exercise of data subject rights.
- To send you information about new features or changes to our services or policies.
- To provide support and security for our services, such as detecting, investigating, and preventing activities that may violate our policies or any applicable regulations.
- To achieve what we deem necessary and appropriate for the legitimate interests of us or third parties, provided that your interests and fundamental rights do not override the legitimate interests of us (or any other third party), such as:
(i) Using statistical or anonymized information related to our products and services to better improve our products and services, but such information cannot identify your personal identity;
(ii) Conducting quality monitoring and investigations of our services;
(iii) Responding to complaints, hearings, arbitrations, legal proceedings, or other government or regulatory procedures.
3. Third Parties We Integrate With and How We Share, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information
We do not sell or rent any personal information to third parties for any purpose. Please note that any content you share with children’s watches and other contacts through the Noise Explorer Hub APP (such as photos, videos, recordings, and fitness records) is under your control.
NEXXBASE will only share your personal information under the following circumstances based on your authorization:
3.1. Sharing Information with Third-Party Service Providers
Some services in the Noise Explorer Hub APP are provided by third-party partners or service providers. To this end, we need to provide your personal information to third-party partners or service providers:
- Aggregated Information: We may provide aggregated information to our partners or service providers, from which your personal information cannot be identified.
- Third-Party Service Providers: Third parties providing SDKs (Software Development Kits) or API interfaces to us may directly collect your personal information. For detailed information, please refer to the "Noise Explorer Hub APP - List of Shared Information with Third Parties."
3.2. Sharing with Other Data Processors
We may share your information with other data processors who are affiliated entities under our control.
3.3. Sharing Based on Your Consent
We may share information for purposes agreed upon by you separately.
3.4. Sharing with Third Parties Due to Business Transfers
We may share your information in the event of significant corporate transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, asset sales, or any other circumstances that may lead to the transfer of user personal data as part of the assets acquired by a third party. In such cases, unless you agree to the new policy, this privacy policy will continue to apply to your personal data, and any acquiring party may only process your personal data in accordance with this policy.
3.5. Disclosure Required to Fulfill Legal Obligations
NEXXBASE will not disclose your and your child’s personal information under any circumstances. However, in special circumstances stipulated by relevant laws, such as protecting your and your child’s significant legitimate rights and interests, public safety, public health, major public interests, national/regional security, and defense security, NEXXBASE may disclose your and/or your child’s personal information without further consent.
- To avoid any doubt, NEXXBASE may collect, use, or disclose your and/or your child’s personal information without your consent within the scope explicitly permitted by law (e.g., to comply with a subpoena). We may also disclose your and/or your child’s information when necessary to protect our rights, safeguard the safety of you, your child, or others, investigate fraud, or respond to government requests.
4. How We Store and Protect Personal Information
We are committed to ensuring the security of personal information. To prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or other similar risks, we have implemented reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial measures to protect the privacy and confidentiality of the information we collect from you, preventing unauthorized access to your personal information.
The measures we take include data encryption, industry-standard security controls to prevent unauthorized access to personal data, and measures to prevent disclosure, unauthorized use, forgery, or destruction of personal data. For example, we have established internal procedures to restrict access to such information, allowing only employees who need to use this information to fulfill their duties to access it, and they are required to comply with confidentiality policies.
If we use service providers who may have access to your personal data, we require them to maintain privacy and security standards comparable to ours. We enter into binding agreements and other measures with service providers to maintain the confidentiality and security of your personal data and prevent its use for any purpose other than those specified in this privacy policy.
5. Exercising Your Rights to Personal Information
We want to ensure that you fully understand your data protection rights. Every user has the following rights:
5.1. Right of Access and/or Portability
You may access, modify, or delete your profile information through the Noise Explorer Hub App you have bound. You also have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you via email at help@nexxbase.com. We may charge a reasonable fee within the scope permitted by law.
5.2. Right to Rectification
You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe to be inaccurate and to supplement any information you believe to be incomplete.
5.3. Right to Erasure
In certain circumstances, you have the right to request that we delete your personal data via email at help@nexxbase.com. For example, when you request us to delete your account, we will delete your personal data. Unless required by applicable law, once we execute such deletion, your personal data will be immediately removed from our servers and the Noise Explorer Hub APP. However, any historical records (e.g., recordings, family chats) may be stored on the associated Noise Explorer 2 children’s smartwatch.
5.4. App and Permission Management
You can manage applications on the watch at any time and withdraw your authorization for various applications on the children’s watch through the "My" → "Apps" interface in the Noise Explorer Hub APP.
5.5. Right to Withdraw Consent
You may contact us to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal information.
You can submit a request to withdraw your consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your and/or your child’s personal information. This can be done within the APP by clicking "My - More - App legal information - Withdraw consent to Noise Explorer Hub app Privacy Policy." We will process your request within a reasonable time after we receive it and will no longer collect, use, and/or disclose your or your child’s personal information in accordance with your request.
Please note that withdrawing your consent may result in certain legal consequences. Depending on the scope of your withdrawal of consent to the processing of your and/or your child’s personal information, you and/or your child may no longer be able to enjoy the corresponding NEXXBASE products and services. However, you and your child can still use the basic services and/or product functionalities we provide to the fullest extent possible without providing the corresponding information.
Additionally, you can unbind the device and delete all data stored locally and on our servers by clicking "My - Watch management - Unpair" in the Noise Explorer Hub APP. After you or we assist you in deleting the relevant information, due to applicable laws and security technologies, we may not be able to immediately delete the corresponding information from backup systems. We will securely store your and your child’s personal information and isolate it from any further processing until the backup can be cleared or anonymized.
If you have any questions about these rights or wish to exercise any of them, please contact us in the manner specified in the "Contact Us" section of this privacy policy. We will verify your rights (e.g., your guardian’s consent and your identity) and respond within one month. Considering the complexity and volume of requests, we may extend this period by an additional two months and notify you of the reasons for the extension within one month of receiving your request. Please note that in some cases, your ability to access or control your personal data may be restricted in accordance with applicable laws.
If you are dissatisfied with our use of personal information or our response to your exercise of rights, you have the right to complain to the relevant regulatory authority (e.g., a data protection authority).
6. How Personal Information Is Transferred Globally
We use Tencent Cloud (Germany) and Kingsoft Cloud (Russia) computing services to remotely store your personal information via end-to-end encryption. This means your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries/regions outside the initial collection location. We ensure that Tencent Cloud and Kingsoft Cloud have implemented sufficient safeguards to protect the personal information stored and transmitted through their services. Your personal information will be stored on servers located in the following regions:
- Personal information collected and generated during our operations in Russia and Belarus will be processed and stored in data centers located in Russia, except where cross-border transfers are permitted under Russian law.
- Personal information collected and generated during our operations in Europe and the Middle East will be stored in data centers located in Germany.
- Personal information collected and generated during our operations in other countries/regions worldwide will be stored in data centers located in Singapore.
Please note that to provide you with the services under the user agreement, our team may remotely access and process your personal information. If we need to transfer personal information outside your jurisdiction, we strictly comply with relevant laws and regulations and implement uniform safeguards to ensure that all such transfers meet the personal information protection requirements promised in this privacy policy. You may contact us through the appropriate channels specified in the "Contact Us" section of this privacy policy to learn about our existing safeguards.
7. Personal Information Storage Period
7.1. We will retain your personal information only for the shortest necessary period required to provide services to you, unless otherwise specified by law. If you request the deletion of your Noise Explorer Hub APP account or unbind the device, we will delete your personal information after retaining it for a further period based on applicable law and internal policies for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiries;
- To resolve disputes related to our services;
- To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive use of our services;
- To comply with applicable laws.
7.2. We also consider the following criteria when determining the data retention period:
- Have we provided you with access and deletion controls through the privacy settings of our app? If not, we typically adopt a shorter data retention period.
- Have you requested a longer retention period? If so, we will retain the data based on the retention period you have agreed to.
- Is the information considered sensitive personal information (e.g., biometric information)? If so, we will adopt a shorter retention period.
Please note that after the retention period expires, we may continue to hold your data in a form that cannot identify personal identities in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies.
Your chat content (voice, text, emojis, images, videos) will be stored on our servers for 30 days; your location information will be stored on our servers for 90 days. You can contact us at any time via help@nexxbase.com to request deletion.
8. Updates to the Privacy Policy
To provide you with a better product and service experience, we will continue to improve our products, services, and technologies. Based on changes in products, services, technologies, and legal policies, we will periodically review and revise this privacy policy and publish the latest version of the privacy policy in the APP through a separate pop-up page. Such changes to the privacy policy will take effect from the stated effective date. We will not reduce your rights under this privacy policy without your explicit consent. If there are significant changes to our privacy policy, we will notify you and your guardian through our services/devices or other reasonable means and obtain your separate consent again. We encourage you to carefully read the content of the latest version of the privacy policy.
If you continue to use our services after the updated privacy policy takes effect, you will be deemed to have accepted the revisions to the privacy policy.

10. Appendix (Definitions)
- "Child" refers to users under the age of 16. The age threshold set by some EU member states may be lower but will never be below 13 years old.
- "Processing" refers to any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, deletion, or destruction.
- "Personal Information" refers to any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as name, ID number, personal location information, online identifiers (including account name, account nickname, email address, and passwords, password hint questions, and answers related to the foregoing), online identifiers, or factors related to the physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural, or social identity of a specific natural person, personal internet records (web browsing history, click records, etc.), and personal device information (including hardware model, device MAC address, operating system type, unique device identifiers such as IMEI/androidID/IDFA/OPENUDID/GUID, and information describing the basic situation of personal commonly used terminal devices, such as SIM card and IMSI card information).
